A Symphony of Change and the Power of Versatility

When the long-overdue project was finally put to a vote, I could almost hear the heavy stone dropping from my heart.

We had needed this so much and so urgently, and now I could address it with my sense of urgency.

Finally!

Considering the potential conflict of interest, I had — indeed — decided not to push too hard, which may be the main cause of the delay of almost 6 months. But my profound knowledge of the association, which has undergone a significant restructuring process since my appointment as vice-president, logically positioned me as the most suitable candidate for the task. Moreover, it would be exceptionally cost-effective – precisely due to my dual role.

“Can you really build a website?” they questioned, eyes wide with disbelief.

My response was a simple, “Fortunately!”

Their scepticism was entirely understandable.

Arriving in the small town as a complete outsider, both geographically and professionally, the transition from a reconverted financial planner and wealth manager to a successful founder of a meticulously designed high-end concept store raised eyebrows. Now, add to that the revelation that I was also adept at building coherent, multilingual websites, despite having already built many before?

Let’s be clear: I am not a programmer or an IT professional.

I am simply an open-minded end-user who employs curiosity, the courage and a certain ease to translate the content envisioned in my mind onto a screen. That’s all. I work with WordPress and a set of reliable plugins that fulfil the majority of the basic website requirements. This can be achievable for anyone with similar curiosity and computer comprehension. And has the time to do it. It is mostly diligence, not rocket science. (And I have competent backup IT-guys on my back. Just in case, you know …)

The Signature Style: Melding Aesthetics, Structure, and Profound Written Communication

My distinctive touch lies in my unwavering passion for aesthetics, a commitment to a clean and easy-to-understand-structure, and the implementation of effective communication strategies driven by a profound love for the written word. These elements constitute the essential ingredients for communication that can truly make a difference. The remainder of my approach involves a lifelong dedication to learning and an ongoing quest for self-improvement, embodying the core of my versatility.

Communication, to me, is everything. It is the most potent medium, a tool to convey knowledge, values, and a vision. The key to everything that counts.
