Key soft-skills for your sales success

In 2020, LinkedIn, a pivotal reference in the realms of recruitment and business, released a study uncovering that creativity stood out as one of the most coveted qualities in new employee recruitment.

In 2024, LinkedIn once again highlighted key skills based on job offers published on this network. Today, communication, customer service and adaptability are among the most important qualities sought in new recruits. This evolution reflects the ever evolving needs of the job market, where the ability to communicate well, offer excellent customer service and adapt quickly to new situations have become crucial to business success.

Over the past 31 years, I’ve had the opportunity to develop precisely these skills. On the strength of my expertise in consulting, sales and customer development, I decided to set up my own business to share my knowledge and help professionals progress in their careers. Alongside the development of a commercial space that benefits from these skills, I have developed courses and workshops specifically designed to reinforce these essential skills in today’s world.

My customers include institutions, companies, entrepreneurs and individuals. Here are my 4 most popular courses:

  1. Creativity courses: Everyone can be creative. All it takes is a few precise techniques to stimulate innovation and creative thinking, which are essential to stand out from the crowd and provide innovative solutions.
  2. Communication course: Most challenges, conflicts and relationships depend largely on the quality of communication. In an increasingly digitalized and dehumanized world, where artificial intelligence is taking on a growing role, it’s becoming essential to reactivate the right strategies for improving verbal and non-verbal communication, drafting clear and persuasive messages, and mastering professional interactions.
  3. Sales techniques: Selling is both a craft and an art, and the key to your success, whatever product or service you offer, whether for yourself or for your company. With 31 years’ experience in this field, I’m convinced that any form of service, including public services, can benefit from a targeted “pooling” approach.
  4. “The Extra Mile:” Today’s customer, whether internal or external, is accustomed to an infinite range of products and services available on the Internet, at prices below your survival price. In the real world, customers expect a different, human approach, a service that goes far beyond their expectations to create a WOW effect. Every customer interaction should aim for this “the extra mile” effect, because in an environment where everything can be done cheaply and impersonally, failing to offer this added value can exclude you from the market.
